NETWORK II.5 is a computer and communications network analysis and designtool. It requires no programming or coding, and provides a menu-driven,interactive, user-friendly interface. The program simulates computer,avionics, signal processing, and automated factory communications andtelecommunications systems of the highest order of complexity. It allowsaccess to the workload-processing capability of alternate systemconfigurations and the evaluation of competing designs.NETWORK II.5 accepts descriptions of systems of any size, complexity, orconfiguration; provides measures of hardware utilization, softwareexecution, and conflicts; and identifies the causes of conflict.An interactive preprocessor allows the building, maintenance, andverification of the data structures needed to describe systems, andprovides a framework for system modeling.NETWORK II.5 provides the ability to accurately describe all physical andperformance characteristics of a system's hardware and software, todefine software modules, and to specify preconditions for execution bymodules.
